Dental Fix RAPIDPLUS is a convenient, in-office dental waterline test, designed to detect bacteria, fungi and biofilm in water over the 500 CFU/ml – the limit recommended by CDC and ADA.
In addition, it is FAST. The results can be read in 30 minutes.
There is no need for an incubator.
Using a revolutionary nanotechnology reagent/solution, Dental Fix RAPIDPLUS is able to detect any bacteria and fungi, including NTM bacteria, that would not show on an in-office culture test.
Dental Fix RAPIDPLUS detects in minutes microorganisms such as Legionella and Mycobacteria, which cannot be easily detected by other in-office tests.
The pink solution is the nanoparticles with no contamination. When bacteria is present, the pink nanoparticles attach themselves changing the solution colour to purple. In the case of high contamination, all nanoparticles have been attached to bacteria leaving the solution clear.
